About Us

We are Iain and Julie McLain, an English couple from North Yorkshire - now living in Altenmarkt - the heart of the Sportwelt Amadé Region. For many years we have enjoyed holidays here both in Summer and Winter and loved it so much, we decided we wanted to live here! We have experience of working in the ski and tourist industry here and have a lot of local knowledge and contacts. You can use our website to:

The accommodation we feature we have used personally and we are proud to recommend them to you. We will be adding more accommodation of all types in the near future, including overnight stays in mountain huts, summer and winter.

New for winter, we will be featuring the nearby high altitude ski resort of Obertauern where you can enjoy the extensive skiing from the end of November to May.
