Where the snow really feels at home!

This resort is where in 1965 The Beatles filmed scenes from the film "Help". The famous four, with a little help from ski doubles tried skiing for the first time.

The Obertauern ski circuit is situated at 1,768 metres in the region of Salzburgerland, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from Salzburg Airport. Sixty miles of slopes can be skied from the end of November to the beginning of May, skiing and boarding to a height of 2,384m. The runs, 59% easy, 37% intermediate and 4% difficult, ensures a fantastic ski holiday for all the family.

The excellent snow record, the deep powder off-piste and the perfectly groomed terrain makes it suitable for all winter sports enthusiasts.

The lively and friendly atmosphere of this resort offers some of the best aprčs ski bars and restaurants. Not to be missed is the fantastic Lürzer Alm, a traditional hut right on the slope, this is definitely the place to be!

Obertauern Ski circuit lift pass (High Season, 6-day); Adult: €172.50, Child: €86.50.

The ingenious lift system makes it possible to ski the entire Tauernrunde circuit both clockwise and anti-clockwise, returning to the starting point. All ski runs in this resort are linked and clearly marked.
